Privacy & your data.
Singapore C++ Users Group is run by community organisers. This page explains how the new website handles your information.
Joining the announcement list
We ask for your name and email address so we can send Singapore C++ meetup announcements. You must confirm your email before joining the active list. We record when you agreed and confirmed.
Who can access it
Only authorised organisers and the services needed to run the site and deliver email can access subscriber information. The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, database storage and spam protection, and Resend for email delivery when signup is enabled. These services may process information outside Singapore. We do not publish the subscriber list or share it with event sponsors.
Leaving and deletion
Use the unsubscribe link in your confirmation or announcement email to stop announcements. For a copy, correction or deletion of your information, contact the organisers on X. Unconfirmed signup requests expire after 24 hours and are deleted by a daily cleanup. Subscriber information is retained while needed for the announcement list; unsubscribed records are removed after 30 days.
Security and cookies
We use encrypted connections, server-side validation and request limits. Spam-protection requests are processed by Cloudflare Turnstile. This site does not require member accounts or use advertising trackers. Server error logs are configured without logging signup bodies or email links.
Historical event pages
The archive preserves public event descriptions, dates, venues and speaker information from our former Meetup group. We have not imported member emails or attendee profiles. Historical sponsor and registration notices apply only to their original event.
